"Impeccable food omgggg! This was amazing, I am here on business trip and this is the first place we stumbled upon here because it’s right by where we are staying. The foood is too good, definitely give it a try. There was a wait but we sat at the counter and had drinks until we were seated."

"Came here with my boyfriend and we both had a great time. We got the french toast, fried chicken, and pancakes. 10/10!!! Big portions and very tasty. Thea was our server and she was phenomenal. Food was amazing and so was the service. Will definitely be back!!"

"The reviews here were really amazing, so I am saddened I didn't get to experience the same. Outside of our Server Jay, I was really disappointed. She at least showed some concern and empathy for some of the confusion we experienced. Food: the food presentation was pretty, but our meals lacked the expected flavor and seasoning you'd get in this style of restaurant. I ordered the Fish and Grits and had one small piece of fish. The grits were prepared differently than I have ever had. That's a matter of taste, but not what I expected. The chicken for my partners Chicken and Waffles lacked seasoning. Both of our fried dishes tasted like the oil was burned. Host/Service: they have a very unique system for seating and assessing how busy they are. The host essentially turned many people away by saying the wait was 15/30/45/60 min waits. It was odd because literally 1/3 of the tables were empty. You could see customers and servers frustrated with this. And the waits were very inconsistently given. The rationale was "because of the kitchen." I don't really understand it, personally, but be aware of this before you trek over on a Sunday afternoon like we did. The food wasn't tasty enough for the experience we had. I'm hopeful this was just a bad day. I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt by giving them 3 stars. I'm not certain I'd eat here again, but your mileage may vary. I hope they will improve on whatever happened this past Sunday. I love to see businesses like this thrive."

"First impression was terrible, the older heavy set white lady yelled at our server for seating us at a specific table. Very unprofessional, no fault to the server. Our server was actually nice so she made up for the lady’s lack of professionalism and customer service. Now onto the food, the shrimp and grits was good, the chicken and waffles was decent but the chicken had no seasoning. The atmosphere was ok but there was no AC running so it made the experience bad. First time visiting and most likely won’t be back. The owner needs to look into having a conversation with the manager (I believe she was the manager since all she did was stand there and be rude to staff)"

"We had an amazing breakfast experience. The food and flavors where 10/10. I got the chicken and waffles and my fiancé got the shrimp and grits and both where packed full of flavor and goodness. The service was also quick and helpful and polite. I would definitely come back here it was worth it"
