Sur La Brea Park

"Sur La Brea Park's pickleball courts are pretty nice. Having more than two pickleball courts is great! The courts are in great condition. The nearby trees drop a lot of leaves on the court but it did not interfere with play. The limited play hours (9am-4pm) is kind of a letdown, but the courts are nice."

"This place is one of nostalgia and memory. When I would visit my grandparents as a child, I remember my late uncle Bob playing tennis with my father and us kids running around driving our parents nuts. I still remember the old oil pumps churning up and down and as a kid being memorized by them. The place always seemed safe and it is comforting seeing that not much has changed. I took my son here when visiting my very elderly grandparents, possibly for the last time and I was very pleasantly surprised to see not much has changed. It is well maintained, the people there are friendly, and the memories were still fresh like they happened just yesterday. It was a trip down memory lane that I surely appreciated."

"Enough space to play baseball, soccer, basketball and there are also tennis courts, playground for kids, area for exercising, restrooms and there is also area to do barbecue. Take hour kids and pets there and you have everything you need in here! Enjoy"

"Beautiful Park... I thoroughly enjoy playing pickleball at this park. The people that play there are fantastic, friendly & helpful and the courts are in beautiful shape. Pickleball is available during the morning and evening!"
