"The coffee is really good. The latte almost has a slightly burnt cinnamony flavor because of the roast. I am willing to put up with all the gay trans propaganda it is so good. Don't let that stuff make you turn around. Just stuff it up and enjoy your beverage and then as soon as you return home you can commence puking in your toilet and tasting that wonderful coffee a second time."
"Poor customer service detracts from what would otherwise be a charming neighborhood coffee shop. One of their baristas is rather short and patronizing. There are nicer shops nearby with much friendlier service. The coffee is good but the pastries are often pretty stale and they will not warm them up for you. The shop is clean and well furnished and a good spot for quiet study. Other than that, I would not recommend this place. I find it rather laughable they brand as a "friendly neighborhood coffee shop." The level of service suggests otherwise."
"This shop has me torn. I've visited a couple times and I enjoy the overall retro design of the shop, the mid-century modern furniture, the book shelves and coffee gear offerings, but the coffee and food has been just ok. I most recently ordered the KyotoBot coffee which is made from their cold percolation towers and it reminded me of a cut cold brew, just not as exciting as I was hoping. Also ordered a lye roll which was kinda dry but I didn't have super high expectations for it. The baristas were chill and they had some retail roasts for $15 at 12oz so I appreciate that. But overall, I would say it leaves a lot to be desired but thanks to the many seating options makes for a relaxing spot to study/ catch up with a friend/ read a book"
"Fuel coffee is my favorite coffee shop. I love the selection of books they have, their coffee drinks are perfect, and the atmosphere is the perfect balance of cozy, modern and minimalist. I got the seasonal rosemary latte iced, and it was delicious."
"I was walking by this coffee shop and noticed a sandwich board with specialty drinks outside. I love specialty drinks and out of 5 listed on the board I wanted to try 3. I picked the most unusual one which was a lemon drop latte ($6.20). It was amazing and I regret not getting the biggest size because I finished my 8oz cup in two sips (: It tasted exactly like a lemon drop cake. They change their specialty drinks every season. They use housemade syrups for specialty beverages which is a big plus in my book. They also have a website with their regular menu online. The cafe itself is very light and welcoming. It’s also great that the baristas get predictable wage, I wish more cafe owners did that."
