Located at 3301 West Gonzales Road, Oxnard, California 93036, the California Ventura Mission Office serves as a spiritual hub for members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and the broader community. Our Beliefs and Worship Services

Our faith is centered on the teachings and sacrifice of Jesus Christ. We believe that through His life, ministry, and resurrection, He saves us from sin, suffering, and death. Our church services are designed to strengthen our relationship with Him and each other. Each congregation holds a weekly main worship service called the "sacrament meeting," which includes hymns, prayers, and sermons delivered by different members. The highlight of this meeting is the taking of the sacrament, a sacred ordinance similar to communion.

Discover Our Temples

For Latter-day Saints, temples are sacred spaces distinct from other church buildings. They are places where members receive special instruction about God and Jesus Christ and make eternal covenants. We believe in eternal families, and much of the work done in temples is to strengthen these bonds. Marriages performed in temples are meant to last for eternity, and we extend these blessings to our ancestors through sacred ordinances.
