Located at 295 Arcade Drive in Ventura, California, The Arc of Ventura County is a dedicated local government office and nonprofit organization committed to empowering individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Since our establishment in 1954, we have been striving to improve the quality of life for over 700 individuals across Ventura County through a variety of innovative programs and services.

At The Arc, we believe in paving the way for independence by providing access to essential services and resources. Our mission is to empower those we support to live self-sufficient, self-determined lives in everyday settings. We focus on informed decision-making, positive change, and active community integration and participation. Our programs are designed to help individuals learn practical skills and foster interpersonal relationships through meaningful community engagement.
