Reviews
"I Highly recommend Dr. Raval. He is patient, caring and attentive to what you have to say. Thus far his recommendations for my care have been on point for me. I don’t usually leaves reviews but he is worth my time to share this with you. You will be pleased!"
"Dr. Raval is a great doctor. He is clear and detailed in his examination. I felt confident in his ability to treat me. His diagnosis was spot on and I will definitely return to Dr. Raval if my knees ever bother me again!"
"SHORT VERSION Charles Mencil's review is dead on. Neel Raval is arrogant, impatient, ill-mannered, inexperienced, and ultimately useless. Also, his office is so disorganized and siloed they can't process a referral or get you your own x-rays. LONG VERSION I was referred to NR in May from a One Clinic and only got in in September (!) because the appointment system is such a mess. I couldn't get through on the phone (both numbers eventually hang up on you) and I finally had to drive out to the office in person just to book my appointment, and then they lost my referral. The only reason I hung on so long is NR came on strong recommendation for his sports background, which mattered for my particular injury. Then I see Neel and he seems quite ignorant of a very common condition (cuboid syndrome) and is irritated by my very reasonable questions. He refers me out of Providence to a physical therapist for something he should have had the skill to handle, but his referral for some reason requires a prescription even though I have complete choice in my PPO. So I'm on to Select Physical Therapy, but he doesn't send the prescription in time so I lost my appointment and now I'm starting over in dealing with my cuboid. Also, he apparently can't listen and take proper notes, because my visit notes are in MyChart and they're not entirely accurate. It is now November and I'm still trying to get x-rays from a September 13 appointment so that I can go to UCLA. Forget Providence! Never again! P.S. This is not an isolated case. I've been to Providence Encino before and they're a disaster too."
"I was seen by Dr. Raval for my knee pain as well as hip pain. He was very helpful in diagnosing both of my issues, as well as educating me on the pathophysiology of my condition. He was thorough, and worked together with me to develop a plan of action. I felt heard and like he was guiding me and educating me rather than just telling me what to do. He was polite, honest, and explained things in simpler terms. He is clearly extremely knowledgeable, and has a great bedside manner, and I could not recommend him more!"
"Very short and impatient. Poor bedside manner. Was not interested in hearing all issues/reasons I was seeing him for before formulating his diagnosis. Big ego for a new young doc, and poor people skills who also had the audacity to blame my GP for referring him to me to get down to the bottom of the issues I was having. Not someone you want working on you. He is more concerned about himself and his own ego than providing good quality care for his patients. Or maybe he was just having a bad day and I was unlucky. Won't be going back."
