"Waiting room full of hurting people, I’d say at least 75, only one person registering. Everything was taking forever. I went into the bathroom and it was filthy. Very unacceptable. Is there not a Covid breakout going on? I left I couldn’t stand being there, luckily for me my condition started to improve while I was sitting there waiting. What is being done about this? You’re the only emergency room locally where else are we to go. This shameful!"
"Unfortunately agree with the poor reviews. Although I have had great experience in Los Robles Hospital, the ER is atrocious. The nurses were completely unprofessional. The nurse, Cienna barely spoke to me. She walked in, handed me a bag and said “This is for your urine sample” and walked away. I sat there wondering if I was supposed to roam the hall and figure out where the bathroom was on my own? And where to leave the sample? After three hours of waiting for test results, Dr. Wilke came in. He was rude, condescending and kept talking over me. He also told me I shouldn’t try to understand my results, that’s for the doctors to do. So arrogant. I could also hear him chastising staff, demeaning then and talking about other patients conditions to them. He has horrific bedside manner."
"I have had better care in War Torn 3rd World Countries. I was dumbfounded by the lake of empathy. Everyone there working seemed bothered. There was a short female X-ray tech walking around at a snails pace (some of waiting along the side of the wall in wheel chairs were wondering what drug is she on). No urgency to her job it just seemed like she was strolling slowly through an amusement park trying to choose her next ride. Was she on lunch break, was she high on drugs?....NO, that was just her working. Their flow and protocols from intake, triage, and care would be better represented by a team of junior high school students on a school project. Countless techs and nurses could be seen on the phones on social media or texting (not to do with hospital). When they are walking right in front of you and someone on wheelchair row asks a question, they would stop in a surly manner, and wee would see what was on their phone...definitely NOT hospital business. So sorry to interrupt your "personal life" on the job. Another tech, although a sweet gal, totally unprofessional and oversharing about her life while another nurse had to remind her to put gloves on before applying a shot to me after the nurse corrected her on the size of the applicator as she was on her personal phone. Who does LAs Robles hire? Their HR department must through darts at resumes scribbled on Post It notes. They confusingly wheeled me in my wheel chair and then brought me back with no care. They forgot to check my vitals till I asked them to. Other staff walking right in front of us on the way to who know where talking bad about other patience or laughing about them. It was as if we were ghosts or a squashed bug on the wall. Truly Truly I say to you all out there, if you need care try to go elsewhere."
"Arrived at ER just after noon. Got quick and good medical care from great people. At approx 2:15pm, we were told my wife would be admitted. We were then brought back to the regular waiting room to wait for a room. I’d give 5 stars for medical care, alone. However, as I write this it’s 9:30 pm and we’re still not in a room. Maybe that’s not the fault of the Emergency Room, but there needs to be better communication and care for patients waiting for beds upstairs."
