"Maybe perhaps not the most ideal place to take the iconic pictures of Monterey Bay, but this particular location is definitely very picturesque its own right. Give you a good view of the harbor and the activity around. It's sort of akin to fisherman's wharf in San Francisco, with a lot of tourists and a lot of tourist trap restaurants and shops. Not to imply that one shouldn't go there; it's kind of fun to walk down the wharf area in sample of various foods that are being offered."

The sight of the waves crashing against the rugged coastline is simply awe-inspiring. Whether you're a nature enthusiast or just looking for a serene escape, Lookout Point is a must-visit. It's a true sanctuary for the soul, and I can't recommend it enough!"
"Nice aspect of the Monterey bay Fishermans Wharf! After walking down the wharf, trying all the various vendors clam chowder, browsing some stores and eating too much, this is a nice place to stand and look out on the wildlife and boats in the area. There is always a ton of birds and seals to see and hear. And there are couple coin op binoculars you can use to look a little further out. In particular I really enjoy the wildlife on the pier straight out front."
