"AMAZINGLY scenic and exceptional. Loved the whole hike experience. Don’t forget to bring binoculars, there’s so much animal life to look at!"

"The trail is open. There was only one tree down in June 2023. A long staircase up, then trail up, trail down, up, and down again. Great views. There are a few trails on the hill. This is part of the Presidio of Monterey but leases to the city. It’s a nature preserve."

"A great loop up the hill leading to several natural trails up and around the hilltop. There's a quality map for navigation and the fog rolling through makes for a nice feeling short hike. There are stairs on the way up from the veterans park trailhead leading past the fence by the Presidio DLIFLC base."
