"Parked to bike Waterfront Trail (no security cameras unlike other parking lot access point). 2 RV encampments in this lot. Sketchy crowd, would not ride again. Homeless, drugs & unsavory individuals linger in parking lots & all along the trail, continue to be a problem that the city turns a blind eye to. Felt very unsafe, would definitely not walk or bike as a single person, a family or with pets until the city cleans it up. Beautiful bay views & marshland completely overshadowed by California’s finest - trash filled homeless camps & it’s residents (many seem to have aggressive breed dog companions) along the trail. Did not feel safe would not recommend. Pretty bad when you return to your car & are glad all the windows are still intact."
