"Amazing museum! Mainly farm equipment but also very unique pieces like an engine from the Spruce Goose. Hidden Gem of sonoma county. So much to see, it's almost impossible to see it all."
"Premium destination for antique equipment and museum artifacts. Watch for our power up the 2nd Saturday of July! Work days are the 1st and 3rd Saturday every month. Visitors are welcome to see the process..."
"Picture every antique museum, machinery museum, equipment museum (you get the idea), train station you've ever been to & admired- but this stuff all WORKS! Steve grew up here & has turned this place into a collection of all the life sized toys he ever played with as a boy! The vintage Chevy truck he learned to drive in is on display (& works!) Along with endless treasures. My favorite was an antique enamel tiled stove which was being cooked on. I've seen old stoves but none of them ever worked! Not content with just collecting, this group of dedicated volunteers keep these things running. Built to last takes on a whole new meaning. If you want to marvel, learn or help, volunteer day is the 1st Saturday of the month rain or shine! The metal is warmed by the engines AND the heart that has obviously gone into every inch of the place. On my visit a Dad dropped his 2 boys (maybe 13yrs old) off & when he picked them up dirty hands & all, they were talking about cars all the way to theirs! This place touches generations. Come see for yourself."
"This place is great! Lots of old engines, old farm implements and other interesting historical artifacts. Where else will you see a steam powered farm tractor? Or an hear an engine from the Spruce Goose get fired up! Usually a food truck rolls up so you can enjoy lunch and snacks and cetera. I usually spend about two to four hours here. I rate this place at a one to three hour travel time depending on how much you like engines... They are open one day a year, the second Saturday in July - so as to not conflict with July 4th... They are not guaranteed to be open this year (10 July 2021) but are moving forward as though it will happen. Tentative opening time is 10am and it usually goes until about 3pm. Keep your eye on their facebook page for late breaking details. Be there or be missing out!"
"Steve Phillips once a year event is a not to be missed outing, he had at one point every thing running, impressive amount of past century technology, was blown away by the engines, and the Spruce Goose engine"
