"If your dog doesn't mind other dogs this is a great area to let your dog free to enjoy the beach (my kids loved it). Parking is around $2.75 an hour and the lot is checked regularly as I saw a few tickets issued while I was there. Cars were constantly moving in and out so there seemed to be spots regularly available while I was there. To access the beach from the parking lot, while looking toward the ocean there is a ramp to the right where the bathrooms are located."

"Our puppy had a blast at the dog beach! It was WINDY so make sure you bring a sweater. Parking was not an issue. There are lots of dogs off leash so keep that in mind. If you choose to off leash your pup, bring a really yummy treat for easier recall since it gets crazy. Overall, we all had a very great time!"
