"The gas is really cheap here I paid 4.29 per gallon"

"Just had a horrible and dangerous experience here. I was in Cerritos for a job interview and stopped over here to get gas because it was close to the 605 and I was almost out of gas. I paid $15 to get 3 gallons (more than enough to drive 20 miles home) inside the store for pump 11 because the outside of the pump looked like it could have been tampered with because the seal sticker was lightly damaged. I did not trust it. When I went back to the pump after paying and tried to dispense fuel it beeped like normal but did not appear to pump gas. The numbers on the display did not change. I did not feel the pump vibrating/buzzing like you would feel it, but it clicked on and off like normal when you adjust a pump handle and it dripped with a small drip. I thought maybe it's just very slow and the display was broken. It did not pump any gas. My gas gauge did not change. I argued politely with the cashier because he didn't believe me about the pump, but he said it was my car. I tested this, and even after driving around the block and back to the station it did not change my fuel gauge (it should have warmed up after 3 gallons) and I shut my car off to go back to the cashier again. When I went back I realized that I also was given the wrong reciept for 50 bucks which I had to check and make sure it was 15. After another argument with the cashier he reversed the 15 dollar charge and told me to use a different pump or pay for a jerry can and gas for it. I did not trust him or the pump so I did not get more gas here. At this time my gas gauge warmed up slightly so I thought it did actually give me gas and was safe to drive, but it was just the reserve gas in my ford's fuel tank. It was no gas and my car probably reacted to the fuel tank pressure from the cap being opened and the day being cold. The car hesitated like it does on low gas but I didn't realize it was all the way empty and assumed there was 3 gallons from what the guy said. Because I trusted the guy instead of my own instincts I ran out of gas 5 minutes down the freeway going 70 in the fast lane. Very scary. I would have been dead if the people behind me were not paying attention and rear ended me when my engine died. It was a very dangerous stop as I had to use the carpools emergency lane and avoid road debris. The CHP had to rescue me from the emergency lane after almost 35 mins. As soon as they gave me 1 gallon of gas my car fired right up. I am going to be even more upset if there is any overheat or premature damage to the newer fuel pump I paid a mechanic to fix a while ago that should be good as he used quality parts. Once I filled up at another station with a compareable amount of gas the gauge worked properly. So it was not my car!!!!! I cannot find the number for the station or for corporate. Someone needs to make this right! I submitted a complaint to the la county dept of weights and measures as there is something broken on pump 11 or its tampered with. I will be following up monday."

"Pumped gas this morning I gave the man 120 in cash all 20s. The man then comes out to my pump and says I'm stopping you at 80 so I go in. He then shows me 4 20s and 4 1 dollar bills claiming I gave him that. I kindly ask to check camera's please he then starts cursing at me saying I am the fukin camera and said he makes 60 thousand dollars a day why would he try and take 40 dollars from me. There's more to this story but I hope someone can check if he was trying to steal from me or if it was a misunderstanding because the way he spoke to me was truly unprofessional and he should never be working there."

"I noticed i was five gallons below the full line and i like to keep my car at full at all times so i pulled over got five gallons worth of gas and i was shocked at how fast it pumped the five gallons then got in the car ready to drive off looked down and saw that i was two gallons off of being full when i paid for five not three gallons worth. THEY CHEAT YOU ON GAS HERE DONT BUY FROM HERE. Between knowing my car like the back of my hand and being amazing at math its clear to see they swindled me. Just so disappointed."
