"Relatively a nice, clean, and safe station in LA, and parking is free if you are taking the metro. Train frequency every 10min which is nice even for the weekends."

"Various buses and shuttles to get around Lawndale, Redondo Beach, Manhattan Beach, and other local places. The station travels the green line, which connects to the blue line, which connects to basically all other rail lines in Los Angeles. Not a ton of seating for the buses, but plenty of seating for the train. Since it's by the beach, there's often pleasant weather while waiting here."
