"There are better beaches at Pt. Reyes. The best part of this visit was the hike in from the Sky Trailead. I would not do that hike in the cold months. On a hot day like yesterday, it was perfect as it's largely shaded 12+ miles round trip. Just before the steep stairs to the beach, there is a large Eucalyptus tree that provides shade and was a good picnic spot for us. We spoke with fellow hikers from the Sierra Club there to get ideas on making a loop back to the Sky Trailhead. Unfortunately, because of time constraints we did not pursue the loop, but plan on doing the loop in the future. Of course, if you want to make your way to the beach, do so. It's a short trip down, there's a bit of a wasteful depending on the season, and at least one large log to sit on if the sand isn't your thing."
"Coming off the trail to Kelham, it was so beautiful and it honestly felt like it was already Springtime yesterday! What I always appreciate is seeing wild life in it's natural habitat. When I came down the stairs I saw this beautiful and huge elephant seal taking in the sun in the sun."
"Great remote beach. If you like going to beaches that don't have any people or close to none (on the summer around July there might be more people but perhaps no more than 10), then this is the beach you want to go to."
"Quite, isolated and beautiful. Not for everyone. Requires a long hike to visit, but worth it."
"Is a beautiful place for a hike, and beautiful trails too"
