"I know who you are speaking about. The really nice older gentleman. His name is Hal. My nickname for him is actually hal the handy and humble Helper He’s the general manager. He is very polite kind and courteous. He actually works a split shift which is the most difficult kind you can have and make it worse. He opens and closes every day opening at 5 AM to 10 AM and closing every day from 7 to 11. I’ve never seen him act any different. Anyone else treating people better than they treat him better than you truly"

"Worst gas station manager/owner ever! I went to this gas station, bought a full tank of gas and a car wash. As I was exiting the car wash, I received a phone call from the hospital as I work in hospice supporting terminally ill patients. So I temporarily pulled into a marked stall away from everyone else to take care of this urgent matter. While on the phone, the owner taps on my window and says “No loitering here, you need to leave.” I showed him my receipt and gestured to him that I was on the phone but he just scowled at me. After finishing my call, I spoke to the owner to let him know why I was there (which was less than 20 minutes) so he would know that I was not just loitering. He said “I don’t care why you’re here, this is private property and you need to leave.” I was completely dumbfounded by his behavior… he was rude, vulgar and lacked any amount of compassion or understanding. He got his money from a paying customer and that was that. I would never in a million years use this gas station again and hope that others would think twice about buying gas here where the workers believe that rudeness and profanity towards their customers is okay."

"Depending on the location, Shell off of the highways usually have better prices. Inside the Loop, is a store cashier with snacks, alcohol, and lottery tickets. Easy access, restrooms, and self serve."
