"When I first saw the Windsor Drive trailhead I thought "Huh?" why would anyone want to start so far away from the park? But eventually I figured out it was an opportunity to spend more time doing what I loved - hiking, exercise, enjoying the gift of nature with hills, views, heavily wooded areas rich with vegetation and more. And actually, the .8 mile 300 foot ascent is very gradual with a wide, consistent grade so I don't mind sharing this with you... but please don't fill up *MY* parking lot LOL ;-) You'll easily find me hiking on the hill - the old guy with the 35 pound pack and trekking poles attempting to get conditioned to go backpacking - going the complete 6.7 mile, 970 foot hike hitting every trail... so pray for me! Happy Trails, Michael"
"This is the best place to hike in Petaluma. There are 6 miles of trails and wonderful views in all directions."
