"I have been shopping here since it opened, going one to three times each month. I have never had the problem mentioned in some of the other reviews ... I have always been charged exactly what the sticker price showed. The cashier is accurate and fast ... there is more than one cashier but only one at a time so sometimes there is a short line/wait. Yes I do check the sell-by dates and sometimes the date is in the recent past ... I buy it anyway because I've never had a problem with anything I have bought at Mega. I look for the foods and beverages with very little or no additives ... cereal, health foods, coffee, juice. Small area rugs for 69.99, Kitchen appliances, Gym shorts and T-shirts, Storage containers, Outdoor stuff, etc. Have fun."

"Me and my friends use to go here every weekend but not anymore! You only think you’re getting a good deal until you get to the check out and the cashier charges you a whole different price. The price tag literally says one price and they argue with you and tell you that’s not the price. So today I went to the other location and the exact same thing happened. It’s so sad because this use to be a fun place to go but I don’t know how they can just charge something completely different at check out. The girl told me maybe it was priced wrong or someone changed the tag. Why would someone change the tag then put it back on the shelf?! This has happened at both locations. And to my friends as well in the amount of almost 20.00. We aren’t talking Pennies."

"Prices were not great but on a few items, so check price online before your purchase. Food was way beyond best if used by date, so check that as well. No refunds if a item does not work, store credit only for on 2 days when I asked."

"Be careful at check out! Things are not itemized so it is hard to check your receipt. The cashier intentionally double charged me for a $6.99 item. I know it wasn’t just a mistake because she listed it first as a clothing item and then listed it again as a taxable item and I had not purchased anything else at that price!! Not going to go fight for $6.99, but they lost a customer."

"Don't let some of the reviews scare or trick you. This is a very middle of the road liquidation shop. 2 notches up from Sheds and 1 notch down from Ollie's. Lots of interesting items. Plenty of clothes and rugs. Plenty of food. Lots of food out in the open stacked high. Lots of bare shelves. I know it takes a train wreck or an over turned semi to keep places like this running, but it just doesn't have a great variety of stuff. Tons of Ketchup, very little mustard. Prob areally good place to check in on once a month to see different inventory."
