"This place is awesome! I got here at 1:30pm on a Thursday with no appointment and it was about a 45 minute wait to get a title transferred, but there were at least 10 other people there when I arrived. Not bad, compared to the state run Lee County tag office which was a 29 day wait (yes 29 days til the first appointment available) FLTA was super helpful, all employees in a very nice mood and zero hassle in getting my title work done. Will absolutely be coming back here!"
"Great to be able to get an appt within a day or two. Did go in today on wait list and the automated system isn't super accurate, it was saying 18 minute wait, but in reality it was 1 hr 15+ minutes. BUT, even with that wait, still super happy to get in same day. Staff was mostly friendly and helpful. BRING CASH, they do charge a 3% fee for checks or debit, and they do not take credit cards at all."
"This place was excellent and efficient with their services. I did not have an appointment and came in when they opened, was in and out within 30 minutes and got my car registered and plated. The staff were nice but seemed unhappy about the huge line waiting for them at opening which is completely understandable. The text messages about waiting status is also very helpful and appreciated. I would recommend to make an appointment. Great service!"
"I went Lee county tax collectors downtown Fort Myers at 1pm, there was hardly anyone there yet i was told they wouldn’t take any walk ins but i could make an appointment for another day….first available appointment was 2 weeks away! It was actually the tax collectors office that told me to try First Lee Tag Agency, there was very short wait i was in & out with a title and a plate in about 30 minutes. The whole thing was so quick and effortless I literally couldn’t believe it, i honestly still cant believe it happened. I believe the name of the gentleman that served me is Kenny, nice guy."
