"CBP Supervisor required excessive searches and screening improperly utilizing 5 agents for 30 minutes to process one private US registered aircraft and two pilots. Why? Because we were 15 minutes early due to weather conditions requiring an early departure from the Bahamas. Company notified CBP, early arrival was rejected by supervisor. Instead of requiring us to wait, supervisor submitted for a Federal violation and fines. US CITIZENS, US AIRCRAFT, 15 minutes early - TREATED LIKE CRIMINALS!!!"
"The man was very kind and helped us with what we needed. Quick and careful attention."
"Unnecessarily rude, system is very poor managed, inefficient and not thought out, international travelers are confused, young interns are verbally managing crowds upon which lines to get into, as first point of communication, (and in English) to non english speakers, the signage communication is poor, and the guy who helps with wheel chairs are verbally policing for people with cell phones out. It is militant, inefficient, deserves o stars...As a U.S. citizen, I am embarrassed. There is confusion who goes where, and the "do not let your cell phone be visible or in use, or be seen is confusing and kindergarden and not clear.... Its 7pm Sunday, long flight in from Germany. to Ft Myers Fl Airport Customs. .I'am about the only U.S. citizen, its a slow night.....The Germans have to more than an hour because of inefficiency...I am checking my phone for wifi, waiting for my bag from the conveyer belt, and the wheel chair helper screams across the hall at me about the cell phone use or visibility. It is unwelcoming, and just flat embarrassing, and sends a terrible welcome guests to visitors. My German guests who I met at the hotel were forgiving, and they waited an hour on a slow night.I apologized to them as a citizen of the country for having such a rude and inefficient welcome and border check system, and assured them it is not just them. We (this border check of my country) fail in first impressions systems and manners for international guests , and citizens returning to U.S. 0 stars."
