"July 13, 2020 In June of 2018 my husband Daniel was offered his dream job on Keewaydin Island, off of Naples Florida. We were living on the island while Daniel was in charge of the renovation of the property. Once the project was complete, Daniel transitioned into the Caretaker for the property. Now it was time to find our own place in Naples. We talked to a few different Realtors and looked at a few places. We wanted to be very intentional when buying a place in Naples as we absolutely love it here, but coming from a small town in Maine there is quite a difference in living in a community and what you can and can’t do. We own a truck and a large dog and we were not willing to give up either. Everyone else we spoke with would look a little and say we could have them and then find out the one or the other were not allowed in that community.
