"St. Lukes is one of the oldest churches in Ft. Myers and a beautiful place to worship. The congregation is warm and caring and the church interior offers some stunning imagery. If you're looking for an orthodox Episcopalian church, you should give St. Lukes a try."
"All visitors are welcome and their priest, Fr. Read is a good listener. His sermons seem to apply more to current life and not hellfire and damnation and he stays away from modern political leanings."
"I visited St Luke’s Episcopal Church because it was fairly close to Alva Florida. The church has ample parking; however, in the rain it has poor drainage and may damage good shoes. The church used Rite 1 and usually does at it’s Sunday 10 AM Service. It is sung so it is very different from my experienced Episcopal background The people wee friendly and the church considers itself Anglo-Catholic. The organ is beautiful and bursts loudly in various parts of the Sanctuary, surprising visitors! Few people attended church today but it was unusually cold and raining."
"I recently attended the Solemn High Mass (10:am) service and was very pleased with the church's atmosphere. They have a very talented choir and organist who plays an organ with pipes located in the front and back of church that adds to the sacred mood of worship. The bulletin was necessary to follow and participate during the service. The communion is for all who have been baptized by the Holy Trinity, accept that Jesus is present, and receive communion in their own church. ( It is stated in the bulletin) The Rector's sermon was heartfelt and direct which made it easy to understand. After the service I was welcomed by several people and the Rector. I felt very welcomed here and plan to attend again."
