Welcome to the Lee County Sheriff's Office Gun Range, a premier indoor training facility located at 6570 Felix Romano Avenue, Fort Myers, Florida. Our state-of-the-art facility is dedicated to providing essential firearms training for the law enforcement community, featuring two distinct gun ranges: a 14-lane, 25-meter range and a 22-lane, 50-meter range.

Our primary mission is to enhance training opportunities for law enforcement while minimizing the need for out-of-county travel. The facility also serves a dual purpose as a hurricane command center, with the ranges doubling as shelters for Lee County Mosquito Control and Sheriff’s Office aircraft during emergencies.

The Lee County Gun Range is designed for both public enjoyment and professional law enforcement training. The 25-meter range, exclusively for handgun use, is open to both the public and law enforcement. To ensure safety, public users must pass a criminal background check and complete a Gun Range orientation. The 50-meter range is reserved for tactical training by law enforcement personnel.

Please note, our facility is committed to safety and environmental responsibility. Only special non-toxic ammunition, purchased on-site, is permitted. Personal ammunition is not allowed.
