"I rented for over a year here. They took care of any property repairs that needed to be done. I kept the place clean and took care of it as my own. Everything went well. I would rent from them again."
"I have been a Mark Downey & Associates client for 8 years and have never had a better property manager. They continue to impress me with their assistance and professionalism. Whenever there is an issue with my rental property they always inform me right away and always come with a solution. If anything every has to be done they have fantastic companies on hand to complete repairs or deal with any inquaries needed. I know they have much larger clients than myself but everytime I speak to them I feel like I am their only one and my property is their property. If you are a homeowner thinking of using Mark Downey as your property manager, do not hesitate, you will not find a better company."
"We recently rented a home from Mark Downey and the individual that helped us through the process was named Brandi. Brandi did a wonderful job at answering all our questions and helped make the move in as smooth as possible. Super professional, responded quickly to any questions or issues and was always super polite. Actually everyone we talked with at the office was super polite as well! Thank you very much!"
"Brandi was extremely helpful with our new home. We came from out of state and needed to sign on a home sight unseen. She was able to answer any and all questions that we had about the property. She went out of her way to provide us with a walkthrough video of the property which showed us everything we wanted to see. I highly recommend Mark Downey Homes."
"My family rented from Mark Downey properties for 3 years our main complaint would be they try to make up unreasonable charges to hold as much of the security deposit they can. It’s unreasonable because things like small holes from tv mount. Wall wipe down. The only time a tenant is supposed to be charged is if they make excessive damages, hole, or very dirty. I planned to take it to court but after speaking to a lawyer I decided it’s not worth it. In my lease it allows 6 holes for tv mount. I had 4 holes but I used a press and hang when removing it it took a small spot of paint so they charged me about 245 for paint touch up. The house was cleaned but I missed an area by the door so they charged another 2 hundred and something for wall wipe down. It’s possible I would win in court but technically even though minor they could also win. I was also going to add charges for high electric bill because hole in vent leaking air into attic. They told me legally they don’t have to fix it during summer months, so they didn’t. Even though I might win in court I decided not to pursue the matter and take the over 6 hundred dollar loss."
