"I made an appointment to donate blood for 4:45pm. Got to the location at 4:54pm. They close at 5pm. I was told I couldn't donate blood because they shut down the system. It's weird because everyone's always encouraged to donate blood... here's a candidate but let's shutdown the system... What a huge disappointment."
"The staff is getting more and more useless every time I go there. There used to be good people. Came for my usual double red donation and a new tech who didn’t know how to work the machine, being trained by somebody who left the room had missed my vein. When I saw my skin start to bubble and wanted it out, she went and took her time to find somebody while God knows what is going to happen with the machine in my arm. Update: I have to give kudos to Mr. Derek Williams and Donald McKinney. I’ve donated close to 3 gallons and they are some of the best phlebotomist I’ve ever worked with."
"This blood donation center is by far the best I have experienced. It is very well organized and efficient. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Of particular note there is a blood doctor available to help you with any questions about donations and to give care. I had a small issue with my platelet counts and the doctor immediately took me under her care and determined the best care for me relating to my donation. This is why I will make the extra effort to go to only this center. I know I am in good hands. The technicians are also the best ever and very gentle. Very little or no discomfort and I am very low tolerance to pain and needles etc but because of them I can donate."
"Very easy donation location. One can create an account online and make regular donations. The staff here are very friendly and make the experience comfortable and easy. They have an updated system that now allows one to keep previously recorded history avoiding having to re-answer questions on history each time. The facilities are very clean as one would expect and staff have expertise. Almost always get it on the first stick. They are also conscious of ones time and make sure one knows how long each draw will take. Currently they are very conscious of covid protocol and ensure donors and workers are safe."
"My first time donating platelets. I made an appointment online. This place has convenient free parking. The staff is super helpful and nice. They explain all the process. They give you a warm blanket and are always check on you. They have snacks. You also receive an appreciation gift when you are done. I will definitely will come back soon."
