"Wednesday afternoons are extra long, staff is usually slow & unorganized. On July 31 I waited for vitals for 10 min not too bad, waited for a chair for 5 min which was great, but then I sat in the chair for 1 hour until I was stuck. Person next to me waited 40 min until she was stuck I was the only person in section literally just me and her but I then waited 20 more mins until I was stuck & section was filled with people. Then during my donation my machine kept stopping multiple times & had to be readjusted multiple times leaving my arm bruised. This donation could’ve taken an hour to an hour 15 min. But instead took 2.5 hours. & it takes 2-3 hours almost every time it’s always something. I’m giving it at 2 star bc it’s not like this on other days of the week."
"If I had the option to give 0 stars, I would. This was my first and last time going to this place. I arrived for my appointment, and gave them my ID. They asked for my social security card, but I don’t have it with me physically (because who in today’s world carries their social security card around with them). So I tried every which way I could to prove my social security number, but they told me that pictures didn’t work? I also tried work documents, but they only have the last 4 of my number. However, the first guy that tried helping me wasn’t too bad. He was friendly, but also didn’t really seem to know what he was doing. But the Second Lady that I talked to was incredibly rude. She would not help me AT ALL and basically kept repeating herself that I “needed a work document from my company to prove my social” when I explained multiple times that it only had my last four digits. I had a picture of my work document with my actual number on it, and she told me she could not accept the picture. Then she blew me off and went to the next customer. Incredibly unprofessional. Trust me when I say, don’t waste your time even going to this place. I tired saving someone else’s life, but instead, they wasted my time because apparently I needed my social security card when my photo ID wasn’t enough. Never will I go to this place again. Super unprofessional and disgusting. I don’t even know how this place is functioning."
"I normally don’t have many issues. Today when I came for my visit I always remind the staff of my severe allergies to Band-Aids. The lady named Stephanie Got very aggressive with me and demanded that I took a Band-Aid. I kindly reminded her that I’m highly allergic and I cannot take one and she got a bad attitude. If I have to experience this every time I donate I won’t donate ever again.. I have been doing donations for over ten years when my grandpa needed plasma so the workers should be kind. Some of us are there to help others not just for the money, we don’t even get paid much for it. Britannie, shel are the most amazing ladies and because of them I come back!!"
"I’ve been debating for 2 days now if I should leave a review and if I could leave a -10 stars, I would. I visited this BioLife location on Saturday, May 18, 2024. I had a first-time donor appointment at 9:15 a.m. ET. I was in this facility until 12:30 p.m. My traumatic experience at this location is too lengthy to explain, however, I not only completed a plasma donation; but I went unconscious, vomited, broke out into a sweat and had to an IV placed in my other arm just for fluids. The tech blew my veins out and I left the facility in so much pain. And here I am two days later with a bruised arm. There’s no reason this place should be in business, but the world needs plasma and people need money. Please avoid at all costs."
"I’m beyond disappointed in this place. I had been donating plasma for over a year at this center and though the staff wasn’t always the quickest, they were friendly. Until one day, they sent me to a chair with an employee that clearly had zero training. As soon as she inserted the needle in my arm, it was as if I had zero blood flow and by the time that someone came (not to ask if I was okay but simply to poke my other arm) my right arm was already bruising. The manager’s response? A simple hematoma worksheet. I could barely move my arm at the time and they simply sent me on my way. No questions allowed. When I couldn’t even drive home. I went back to the center days later asking them to take responsibility and they said that if in a week the bruising got worse that I should seek medical help and they would of course cover it. Within that week, my bruise was spreading all over my arm. Naturally concerned, I went to the nearest advent health and the doctor confirmed that these centers are absolutely terrible and won’t even be remorseful if they injure you. He prescribed me some antibiotics to help with the restriction of blood that was going on in my arm as well as the pain (I still had barely any movement in my arm). I went back to BioLife and showed my medical paperwork to ensure I got at least refunded the $400 I just paid to go see a doctor due to what they caused and they transferred me over to a manager - Kailia. Seemingly kind and wanted to help she got all my information and assured me “she would take care of it. Jokes on me as this story stems from February 16th and ZERO answer from the center, this manager, or the claim center. They deny all responsibility, even IF you need to seek medical health. If this review isn’t enough to have you run in the other direction, please refer to the photos posted along with it. Photos of my bruising and the conversation I attempted to have with the management. Clearly it led me to writing this review. They claim that with your plasma it helps other people, but help yourself - avoid this center at ALL costs. Remi, Kailia, management of these centers - DO BETTER."
