"Everyone was so nice and kind at Advent Health Heart of Florida. I have no complaints. They took me in. Took great care of me and made sure I was good to go before they released me. The place was quick and very clean and nice. I would recommend this place to anyone."

"I just left and couldn't go to sleep without sharing. I want to be completely honest and say that not everyone I encountered was terrible, just one. She happened to be the doctor. Amazing guy in the front who took vitals, listened, immediately calmed me down and was super polite. Getting in the back went smoothly at first too. Everyone introduced themselves and gave me their plan to care. The nurses came back after my concerns and said they'd check on my requests. They were great by the way! It turns out they did exactly that, but the doctor took it upon herself to withhold the information until she decided to discharge without doing anything further. Weird, but ok. What was unacceptable was her frustration, amount of force she used, and the repeated attempts to push my arm down on the bed. She wanted one last blood pressure reading. The way I held my arm was not a problem for anyone else, until I questioned her decision. Excessive pushing and yelling! The other nurses didn't say anything as she raised her voice, got frustrated and physical. I was in shock!! Unbecoming and unnecessary! If I have any control on where I come for care in the future, it'll never be here again. For her to be in such a position and to be able to give orders to people under her is scary. I can't blame anyone for her actions, but her. I'm putting this here, but it will be reported. Don't be afraid to report anything people! No one deserves this when you're trying to get yourself checked on anywhere, especially in the Emergency Room. Everyone experiences will be different, but this was the ending of mine."

"Horrible treatment. While in pain I was told my issue wasn’t enough. They did not make me feel validated with my issue I was going through. When I was called in to get my vitals the nurse (male) stated why are your nails so long?” If I could, would rip them off of you! “ I felt so unsafe, I left fast and quickly got treated with Winter Haven thank God."

"Janine is the absolute worst provider I’ve dealt with. I have a chronic issue with my lungs that can cause severe pains and flare-ups. However, she ordered medications that I did not need nor did they help in any way… I laid there in excruciating pain for 3 hours and she refused to give anything for pain. She did not seem concerned at all about what I was saying to her or that she even remotely cared. It was the second time I had seen her, and she treated me the same way both times… She comes across with an attitude and her bedside manners are atrocious… Please, for your patients sake, get rid of her in your ER or move her elsewhere where she does not treat patients directly."

"Hello, I recently visited AdventHealth and wanted to share my experience. The staff was very friendly and attentive, and I have no complaints about their demeanor or professionalism. However, there were a few issues that I encountered. After my visit, I was sent home with the expectation that I could pick up my prescribed medication, but unfortunately, the pharmacy was closed. This led to a significant complication in my care. As a result, I ended up with a hospital bill exceeding a thousand dollars. More concerning, just two hours later, I had to visit another emergency room. I was admitted and have been here for four days, undergoing surgery and currently in recovery.
