"This was arguably one of the worst dermatologists I’ve been to in my LIFE & I’ve been to a lot. The rest of the staff were super nice, but Dr. Kelleher was incredibly dismissive about my problems. I went in for a skin exam and she briefly glanced my skin… it probably took 30 seconds to a minute. There’s no way you can accurately detect skin cancer from a brief look. She didn’t introduce herself when she walked in, and when she came in she just stared at me and said “so what are you here for today”. When I told her I had no family history of skin cancer but was just there for an annual check, she acted like there was no way that I could get skin cancer if I didn’t have a family history of it. She was basically like “oh, you’re young, you’ll be fine!” …. Like thanks but what if I wasn’t fine? I brought up to her that I had been losing more hair than normal lately and she looked at me crazy and said she had seen people with much worse conditions. Obviously my condition was not horrible, but bad enough that I felt the need to talk to a Dr about it. Completely invalidated my concerns. Needless to say, I will be booking an appointment with another dermatologist ASAP. This appointment did absolutely nothing for me. When you’re dealing with something as serious as skin cancer, Dr. Kelleher is the last person I would trust with accurate & reliable results. I would recommend going ANYWHERE else if you’re looking for a dermatologist worth your while."

"My experience at this place was very unpleasant and confusing. Even thought the staff is very nice I would recommend to avoid this place. I went to see Margaret kelleher about a rash that I still have. Conversation with her was very awkward and at times off topic while I was in the middle of a question. I expressed my concerns on how fast my rash has been spreading and told her I had been using cortisone for months without any results and she just said I should use cortisone !! I told her that I would like perhaps something stronger to see if it would help and asked if she could tell me what kind of rash it was but she was very difficult to talk to. I asked for a BIOPSY but it just made me feel more uncomfortable. She needed a sample of my scalp where I had the rash. She did NOT clean up the small area nor shaved it as she should have since I have long hair and made things a little more complicated plus ended up being very hard to maintain clean for the next two weeks. She numbed the Area and then kept asking the nurse “is it in yet?” and “are we done” while she was cutting and stitching me back up!!! The reason why this was so uncomfortable for me is because I would think a doctor who has been doing this should know and not ask these sort of things while she’s cutting into a patient. It made me very anxious and it sounded like she was very lost which is so hard to believe even for me as I’m in that room because to my knowledge she has been practicing for many years and should not have issues doing such a simple procedure like that. I do not write this to make anyone feel bad but more so to help someone else avoid and unpleasant experience. I have not gotten my results after 3 weeks and I am considering going to another office for a second opinion as I am still unsure of what this rash that keeps spreading is."
