"Did an excellent job powder coating my lift kit. Stripped it and recoated it in what has to be record time. Other powder coaters in the area told me it would be at least 4 weeks. Despite being super busy MPC did it in under a week and it looks beautiful. MPC's prices are by a far the lowest you will find around here. I cannot say enough about how great the service was, they went out of their way to ensure I got my parts back just they way I wanted them. He even ordered my specific color, while others told me I would have to use what colors they already had. "I have been getting powdercoating done for a while in the Pensacola area. I used to go to Panhandle Powdercoating, but Wayne died a few years ago and someone else bought the business and won't take any jobs under $3000 now. They do some sort of coating for firearms instead... They were pretty good, reasonably priced, but none of the pieces were ever perfect. Then I started using Thermodyne. Jeff is awesome. One of the nicest guys you will ever meet and really goes out of his way to please the customers. He will talk to you about anything as long as you have questions. He has a lot of commercial powder customers so you won't always get priority, but generally is done within a week and the work looks really good. Prices are really good too and he won't give it to you unless it is right. However, it's not the BEST powder I have ever seen, and I don't like that he doesn't do any real stripping. You have to bring it to him stripped or he will just sand the painted surface or do a light chemical strip. So you have to add that to your cost. When I wanted to have a nice set of wheels done in black I found MPC. Josh is a good dude and explained his process and showed me some examples he had on hand. I asked a lot of questions because I didn't know his reputation yet and wanted to kind of get his knowledge of powder. He chemically strips the wheels to get all the old paint off and then blast them in a boot to get a nice surface to bite into. That was a huge selling point for me. The finish was about near flawless and was done within 3 days. Overall, as much as I really like Jeff at Thermodyne, MPC has a better process, showed a smoother and complete finish on gloss black (which is tough to do) and a great price."
