"Made a request for an appointment online. Specified what time and date I wanted to be contacted, which was not today because I'm at work. 30mins later, I get a phone call from the office but I was in a meeting so I can't answer it. They hang up and call me again. I still can't answer it. They called me a THIRD time, so I had to excuse myself from the meeting to take the call thinking it was clearly urgent if you're calling me 3 times back to back, told them I had stepped out from work meeting for this, and the person I spoke to just laughed and said 'well maybe YOU can call US back when you're available'. No thanks. Not only did you completely ignore my request for a specific contact time (why even have that option on your form if you're not going to use it?!), but you then harassed me with repeat phone calls and then had an attitude when I said I was busy. Appalling treatment of prospective patients. I thought maybe I could overlook some of the many other bad reviews on here and make my own opinion, but now I completely understand. How disappointing."
"This place is so frustrating and it gives you more mental health issues than what you already have. I have been with them since last year December and the psychiatrist prescribed me wrong medication twice without even considering my symptoms. Then I found my therapist, Sharon Atwood, who also prescribes medication and I shifted everything to her and she is amazing. She is by far the best ever. I had appointments to see her twice a week and one more appointment here and there for medication. Anybody who knows about medications is that, it takes awhile and a few appointments to get the right meds and the right dosage. Everything was fine. No major complains or issues. Then I upgraded my insurance. I did not change insurance company or change to different medical group. I upgraded from Gold to Platinum. I was supposed to have an appointment with Sharon for MEDS and therapy. Therapy can be put on hold for a week or 2 but you cannot put off MEDICATION appointment especially when you are on trial for new meds and dosage. My insurance was active but it did not show active on their end. They canceled all my appointments and gave my time slots away. I called my insurance company and it was active and I should be receiving services with no problem. Brain Health still said it was not active even though my insurance provided every piece of document to prove that I am insured and active. They would not budge. I went back and forth with them for days with my insurance company and finally we spoke to I believe her name was Jody and she just gave the green light after telling my insurance company to send them the proof of insurance... when that was what we were doing in the first place!!!! The management is so frustrating and passive aggressive and they do not care about mental health at all!!! Brain health kept saying i cannot have my appointment because there was no guarantee that they would get paid even though my insurance company told them numerous, numerous times that they will handle it. This added 9 days of back and forth stress especially when i needed my medication appointment. This was in April. Now, they made this new rule where you can only see your provider once a week ONLY. Doesn't matter if it is for MEDS or THERAPY. If you have therapy scheduled, they will cancel the therapy and change it to meds if you need medication. I was scheduled to therapy twice a week and now i can only see Sharon once a week regardless of my nature. This is not taking care of mental health. There are some people who receive mental health are OK with changes and seeing new people. Some are not OK with changes and they stick to a routine and not to mention starting allll over again to a new psychiatrist losing everything that you have worked on and re opening trauma. I refused to see anybody new, I do not want to re open my trauma with PTSD. So, I can only see Sharon once a week now.. No matter my diagnosis, no matter the medication and no matter the mental health. I have platinum insurance. Insurance company told me i can receive as many sessions as i need but Brain Health does not care for patients. The replies and answers they give you just pisses you off, they are so passive aggressive and then they end their messages with you deserve to be happy, you deserve this etc.. Grievances has been filed numerous times and they just keep pissing everyone off. I am surprised it is still open. I am only sticking around because of Sharon."

"If I could leave 0 stars I would!! I have been with Dr Mahmoud Aborabeh for several years now, and have just had an experience I felt was worth sharing. While I understand the dilemmas and complications with insurance, this prescriber was negligent in his way of termination. For clarity. The doctor missed our standing appointment on August 5th. It was rescheduled two days later for August 11th. On August 9th I get a text message, not even a phone call, but a text message saying that they no longer take my insurance and I either pay the $150 for the call with the doctor that is never any more than 1-2 minutes (maximum) in duration (no exaggeration). I cannot afford that unfortunately, and while I have contacted my insurance to set up a new appointment with a new psychiatrist, I must go off my medications cold turkey, something that could be extremely dangerous. Any physician would be aware of this and typically provide a month’s worth of supply to hold the patient over so that this doesn’t happen. I am extremely upset and almost shocked that Brain Health USA condones this sort of treatment."
"I've been with Dr. Yacoub's offices since 2016. Speaking to Nurse Sczesny is always a pleasure. She is very personable and never gives the impression that she is too busy to answer a question. Her staff is equally personable and always greet me with a nice tone of voice and a kind word. I highly recommend they treat their patients with compassion."
