"Amazing church and school! I love being able to send my son to a place where I know he will get a great education from people who love him."
"If you are looking for a great Lutheran Church to attend all the time or while visiting, this is the place to go. Bible study on Sunday and Thursday mornings and Wednesday evenings."
"We have been wanting to try this church out for awhile, since we moved from San Diego to Treasure Island, FL a year ago and we have been looking for a church and school to eventually send our kids. When we arrived, there were ushers outside that I spoke to one about child care and he personally showed me the "cry room", which we sat down next to. There were plenty of kids in church so we did not feel out of the ordinary with our 3 kids making racket. I didn't notice that our son was shy to go up to the children's sermon and before I knew it a mom in front of us led him up there, and after the sermon she warmly introduced herself to my wife and related about the kids, I guess her husband is a deacon. Pastor Stern gave a good, interesting sermon interlaced with some humor... and later after the service ended, as we were filing by he shook my hand and gave me his card and said to call him. I think that is a really good touch for a pastor to really notice and caringly welcome visitors (I have a brother that is a professor at Concordia University, LCMS and he tells me that many times churches get so wrapped up in operations and their immediate congregation that they forget about bringing new sheep into the flock... well, this church was def not like that.) I just thought this church was real warm friendly and down to earth, especially compared to some that we have experienced. So I wanted to leave this 5 star review because we probably still won't be attending this church even so because it is too far away from us and also because 9:30am seems to be too early for our family to get up and get our butts to church! Arggh. Lol... We are more the 11am stragglers, sad to say. But this is a great church for anyone interested :)"
"Love, love, love my church. Are you looking for a bible based, warm, welcoming, christ centered church? Then you found they right one! Come visit us! Saturday at 630pm Sunday at 930am. We would love to have your there."
"A wonderful pastor who understands when his people need his assistance such as I did when I was unable drive to church. He took me several times himself and then home after service was over. As when I had a back yard full of fallen trees after a bad storm. He brought two other men and some of the older school children to help carry the trees he cut out to his truck. They were all very good workers and it was down in 2 hrs. He also visits anyone who is ill at home or hospital and just does not walk in and say hello and how are you and leave like one minister did one day when I still was going to another church and on Sundays. That was one of the reasons I joined after that day.His wife also helps us by letting us help the church with gifts for some of the less fourenet folks where children at Christmas time or buy store or resturants tickets to give as gifts. This helps the school.Bible study is great also and luncheons on monthly outing for us retired senior citizens. As you can see I love this church and the folks in it."
