"Edit:Read the reviews where the appliances do not get fixed! Would’ve saved me! Received a no caller ID from a deputy after original review; calling me a child and saying I need to handle this! I verified badge number and name; neither Escambia nor PPD have them in their system! Bad business owner! Emerald Coast appliance repair came to fix our dishwasher. They assessed that it was the power board that needed to be replaced. They replaced it the first time and it was broken a few days later so they came out again to replace it. The same thing happened so they told us to call an electrician. We called White Sands electric, two electricians (One with 20 years experience) Came to our home and said our electric looked great. When we told emerald coast appliance this, they were still set on it being an electrical issue, but offered to take the new part back and put the old one in for a refund because they didn’t know what was wrong with the dishwasher and It can get expensive trying to find which part is broken. They came to take the new part back to send back to LG for refund, but did not put the old part back in. When asked where it was, the technician said that it was gone and they recycled it. I told them I would have to talk to my partner about this and call them the next day . We called them at 6:50 am (they’re open 24 hours, but he did gripe about us calling that early) and stayed on the phone for 30 minutes. He asked us to call White sands electric and have them call him to which he questioned their technicians competence. When I talked to White Sands, they said that a lot of things that the owner (of Emerald Coast appliance repair) was saying seemed off, but I never received full details. Anyways, the owner said he would refund us for the part, but never did. When we called tonight to tell him how we felt about the situation, he went ballistic: mentioned signing an NDA to not post a bad review or go to the Better Business Bureau. He also said that when people report him to the Better Business Bureau, he Post a YouTube Link about it; that should tell you a lot you need to know about this company. Seems like he’s done this quite a few times before. When questioned why we didnt receive the part back; he told my partner (who’s a physician assistant in healthcare)”you’re in healthcare? Right? So a surgeon doesn’t give a refund if the surgery doesn’t work.” Is this really how a business owner talks to people? He seems so angry and frustrated, so much hate was seeping out of his voice, he kept interrupting and being so condescending. I’ve noticed that a lot of their reviews on here are good when things are fixed ( thanks to Drew), But when things aren’t fixed, the pattern seems to be the same; no repairs or refunds with a terrible experience with the owner. He told us the only way we could get money back is that if they put the new power board back on, we pay for another appliance repair to come out and look at it, and then he’ll give us the money back. Why would I take his word for this when just this morning he said he was going to give us a refund on the part regardless? He tried to tell us that we actually owed them more money because they had been out here five times (I was told several times we were only being charged ONCE for the service fee since initial part wasn’t fixed) Owner said that “labor costs” is clearly on the invoice, but it clearly isn’t (photo posted). I was told that we were not being charged another service fee because they cannot initially fix it. So, over $500 to emerald coast appliance repair with no working dishwasher and no feasible solution. The last time he told me To call another company; I paid $179 for them to come out and tell me everything looked great. I’m not going to do that again just to maybe get a refund. Again, I would be a fool to believe anything he says at this point. This is simply bad business with a terrible business owner. Seems like they really need the money. Scammed me out of $515! I work in a heavily trafficked place by locals and will be sure to spread the word!"

"I have used Emerald Coast Appliance for several repairs. They respond quickly and know what they are doing. This time is was my Kenmore dishwasher purchased in 2005. I called the office and the technician, Todd, came the same day. He quickly diagnosed the problem and it required a replacement part he did not have. However, Todd came back the very next day with the part and repaired my dishwasher. He even arrived early. Todd did an excellent job and is a very nice guy to boot! I highly recommend this company."
