"I love Mirror Lake library because it is a Carnegie Library that symbolizes a man who was a immigrant from Scotland who was greedy and ruthless to become rich but who became an altruist and wanted everyone to have a chance to be self educated like he did through reading. His libraries are all over the U.S. There is a great one in Camden, Maine that I used a lot and now I have one in St. Pete. Lucky me. Check it out if you get the chance. Yes and they do give the homeless a place to rest in the cool air. Library's are America at it's best."
"The staff are friendly and helpful. This is a great example of a classic structure being used for a modern purpose. I kinda miss the old card catalogue racks but they had to make room for the computer terminals."

"I got some books from here a few days ago that I had put on hold. I didn't walk around the library any, but the employee that gave me my books was nice and helpful. I had lost my library card, so he helped me get a new one and it was quick and easy. I put holds on some new books and I am looking forward to picking them up!"
