"I'm a customer. Stopped in because I needed something notarized. Greeter said she would have to see if anyone was working that could notarize my document. I sat in the lobby for 10 minutes and she never came back. A couple years ago I needed medallion signature guarantees on some documents and BAC was useless in getting that done. In both of these instances Achieva Credit Union came to my rescue. At BAC I feel like I am just a number. At Achieva I feel like a valued customer."
"I wrote a check for a deposit to my flooring contractor, with a job that was to begin the next day. He deposited it in his Bank of America account, and was told that the entire amount would be held for 6 days! Meanwhile, it had cleared my bank on the same day it was written. So I had my bank print off a copy of the cancelled check and my checking account ledger showing that they had already received the funds. He took it to Bank of America, and was told, essentially, "tuff luck". Meanwhile, my wife and I had procured temporary housing for four days and were already moved out. No other bank pulls this kind of hostile nastiness on their customers. Close your eyes and point your finger on a list of financial institutions. Anything it lands on besides BOA will be better. I've never had a satisfactory interaction with them. I filed a complaint with the Florida Office of Financial Regulation, and now I'm going to take to social media."
"I have had nothing but positive experiences and interactions at this bank so I’m quite surprised to see all of the negative reviews. This bank is in such a popular and busy location, of course you’re going to have to wait sometimes. Any time I have had to wait I was treated with kindness and assurance that I would be helped soon (which I was). If you have something more serious you need to handle or discuss with them then you need to schedule an appointment, that’s to be expected and shouldn’t come as a surprise. Meghan is absolutely amazing, her customer service and professionalism are top notch. I have been to this bank many times when they were extremely busy and she has handled every client with the utmost care and patience. I honestly don’t know how she does it but she’s extremely good at her job. I come to her with all my banking needs and she goes above and beyond. Thank you for being an awesome person and making something tedious like going to the bank something I actually enjoy and look forward to! Every teller I have dealt with (I’m sorry I don’t know their names) has been nothing but professional and kind as well. Customer service and genuine kindness is something that is severely lacking in this day and age at most places I go. This is one of those few rare places left that still have these qualities. Thank you guys for all that you do, I really do appreciate it."
"Staff has nasty attitudes. We arrived 20 minutes before closing and asked to change the address on my Mom’s account. The teller (Kenia) was very rude and told us she couldn’t help us but we could make an appointment for another day. When I asked why we couldn’t change the address now, she got nasty. We were told that we needed to make an appointment and that the only person that could help was with a client. It was clear that she just wanted us to leave. The staff were discussing their days off and seemed uninterested in helping customers. Bad customer service and reason to change to another bank."
