"Would not under any circumstances recommend this agency. When I first started doing business with them they were attentive and responsive. They lost their way. I had coverage bound on my home and paid the premium only to get an e-mail from them 6 weeks later that my insurance was being canceled in 5 DAYS. All due to the age of my roof. This despite my roof passing a 4-point inspection. They had no answer to how to fix this other than I installed a new roof in less than 2 weeks ( at a cost of $19,000). When I competitively bid the insurance out, I got a better policy with a more attentive agency (better return calls, follow up etc...) for $2,500 LESS than what Academy proposed. Now my sister and two friends are switching agencies for the same reason. Poor follow up. Terrible communication. Just follow the reviews- its the same thing."
