"09/16/23 at 1:10pm eastern time. My daughter and I when shopping for my son birthday at the Countryside Mall. So we stopped by this store because my son love pika chu. What happened was my daughter found a keychain, she bought it to the register but then we decided not to get it. My daughter wanted to leave the keychain at the counter but I told her to put it back where she got it from the rack for them. This cashier was watching me standing there while I was watching my daughter put the items back where is belong before we left. However, when my daughter came back and we was walking out the door this cashier was running to us and asked where’s the keychain. I pointed to her that my daughter put it back on the rack where it belongs. She claimed to “ I am sorry, but there are many items went missing from this store and they don’t no where it was”. It doesn’t mean that every customer walks in your store you are going to treat them like a thief. I spoke to the manager was standing there and he said she did everything that she supposed to. It sounds like he is the one behind all this, teaching the cashier to pick on customers walk in this store and running after them may be some day they will catch an actual person that steal stuff from their shop. I was so upset and looked up reviews on this store, it turned out that I wasn’t the only one that experienced this. They had done this to other customers also. I am not very happy with this store treating the customer like this. This is not the store that I would like to visit, but I stopped by because it is my son birthday and this is what I received from this store. If they don’t want customers return unwanted item where it belongs then put a sign at the counter or ask customer to give it to them so they can put it back. They also could have asked me while I was still standing there waiting for my daughter put the item back where it belongs for them. I feel very disrespectful with the way the cashier ran after us at the door to ask where is their item. I pointed to her that my daughter hanged back on the rack for them, I was so upset but still offered to her if she wanted to check my purse. The manager there also told me that they don’t need to change anything about how they treated customers visiting their shop."
"My daughter was at the store located at Countryside mall in Clearwater Fl. The employee kept looking at her and eventually went up to her and accused her of stealing. She then realized that nothing had been stolen and apologized. The employee’s behavior was unacceptable because she didn’t actually see anything happen, she assumed. Thankfully my daughter showed the employee the merchandise which was still on the rack. The store’s excuse is that it’s small and things have gotten stolen without them noticing. How about not accusing and pointing fingers unless they’re certain. This was harassment to say the least."
"My son was not swinging it around until it broke. I called the store to apologize because I was angry and took it out on the employee. I would love to see the so called security footage you speak of. My husband took my kids to the mall and my 10 year old picked up a stuffed animal by the string and it came out. The girl working told us we had to buy it because we broke it. My husband didn’t want the argument and bought it. My son is sobbing because he was only looking at it. What a crock. She said they do not accept returns and refused to let me return it. Awful. Don’t go in or touch a thing because they will claim you broke it and make you buy it. Horrible. I’m furious! We shopped here many time but will not go back or even step foot in that store now because of this experience."
