"I love this place! It's an old, refurbished firehouse, brought into the 21st century as a co-working and meeting space. They put on weekly, sometimes semi-weekly events, usually free; and annual events that span over days, some are free, others are paid (but reasonably priced for what you get out of it). Then there's the people, a smarter bunch you've not met on the Suncoast, aside from maybe a BarCamp Sarasota-Manatee event, with whom you'll notice a good amount of overlap."

"Ages & Stages meets here and it's a delightful, roomy venue. The building used to be a fire station once upon a time as well as the Town Hall for the Village of Manatee. There are some great little restaurants nearby and Downtown Bradenton is a quick drive with a nice pub for an extended evening. Motorworks and the Riverwalk are also close, making Station 2 a central location for fun things to do in Bradenton."
