"AVOID! In my opinion , they are scam artists. I went to Baptist Health UC in Miami 10 days prior for an ear infection. That visit, including antibiotics, cost US$ 207. The antibiotics worked, but a 7 day prescription wasn’t enough and I still had ear issues. When I went to Orlando Health UC, they took my vitals, told me I had no infection, yet wanted to run many expensive tests and even suggested I get an anti inflammatory injection. Anti inflammatory? I have ear pain, not joint pain. I rejected their suggestions and just wanted antibiotics. They refused to prescribe antibiotics in spite of my ear pain and told me to take allergy medicine instead. So, they really did nothing helpful, gave me no prescription for the antibiotics I need, but billed me a whopping US$ 772. It’s downright criminal. UPDATE: One month after visiting this facility, I received a new bill for US$1160. I called to ask why, and was told this is a “facilities fee”. What, like a resort fee in Las Vegas? And if I pay it, what additional charges will they dream up in the future? I already paid $772 for nothing, and that invoice clearly says there is nothing outstanding. So I will not pay this latest ridiculous amount for not having received the help I needed."
