"Dr. Jason Reinhart was very gentle with my mother, explaining what texts we needed to do to keep her safe. He took his time to answer questions, which was very refreshing."
"I think Dr Syal is very good. He is very likable, he reviews your record before you see him, and as always on time for the appointment. I am very happy with him for my neurologist. his staff is very easy to work with and are very pleasant."
"I think I’ve already posted a review of Dr. Reinhardt, but I really like Dr. Reinhardt. He’s very nice, very knowledgeable about his profession, and he just seems like a very honest, nice person. Even though his office is about 30 miles from where I live, I would not go to any other neurologist."
"Zero stars I should first notate that when trying to schedule my initial appointment after my doctor's office relayed to me they had sent over my referral, that AZ Neurology Assoc's scheduling rep was rude out of the gate. Talk about disliking one's job. She said she could not locate a referral and offered no assistance in calling my doctor's office to ask that it be resent. Nope, I had to call then it took about 2 weeks for AZ Neurology to contact me. I not dare contact them after their first impression. Today, at 730am (that is the time I am told and reminded in text, phone call and email) that my appointment for a brain view is scheduled. I am an early person. It gives me anxiety to be late. I walk through their doors at around 7am. I check in and I am giving a 31/2 page scaled questionnaire about symptoms or things that I have experienced currently or in the past. One of the questions asks about anxiety. I write next to the scaling 0-5 that I experience anxiety when appointments run late (as in being scheduled for one time having to wait to be seen). This questionnaire takes less than 5 minutes. Remember I walked in the office and checked in around 7. At about 747 I go to the counter and ask if they are running behind (appointment at 730am). I am told by the front office staff that my appointment is at 730am with the staff retorting it is at 8 and they have me come in 1/2 hour early to do the questionnaire because it normally takes longer. I say that questionnaire...you might wish to re-evaluate the questionnaire. Next I'm told that it takes time to setup the scan because it is based on the answers. Please... I am called back by a tech at 755am who asks me how I am feeling or doing (semantics). I say I am frustrated by the process and she proceeds to tell me to control myself or I will ruin my scan. I say no, you all are going to ruin my scan. In what world does a tech think they are helping any situation by telling a patient to control themselves. I expressed my frustration. There was nothing elevated at that time. I made mention the question about anxiety citing that I responded to this about appointments being scheduled and running late. The tech was having none of it and decides she is canceling my appointment and will not provide explanation even after being asked. She says nope, were done, I'm done walking towards me as if to herd me towards the front exit. She tells the front office I'm canceled. The icing though is when I say my appointment needs to be rescheduled and as the tech is scuttling away into another office she quips "not on my watch". AZ Neurology your techs should expand their filtering system. If you are going to ask how someone's day is or how they are, be prepared for the answer. No one says you have to like the answer, but it is the patient's answer. There is no apology from the tech. She is power tripping over canceling one's appointment because she did not like the patient expressing herself. My voice wasn't raised. I stated fact. If the appointment is canceled because the tech thinks the patient is in a heighted state that is one thing. This is not that. This is a tech who poked a bear by telling a patient to control themselves or the scan will be ruined. If you cannot handle a patient expressing themselves, find a different profession. Bedside manner sucks! Sure an apology would be patronizing so there's that. I was more heighted with my appointment being canceled than expressing my frustration over my appointment time. Do not drink caffeine 2 hours prior to your appointment. Now is that not after 530am or after 6am? If you ever get referred to AZ Neurology Associates in Sun City AZ, ste 200...run, fast, away."
"While my experience with the neurologist was mid. I have had a very difficult time getting and keeping my appointments. I haven’t experienced this type of run around with appointments in any other institution. I called more than 3 times without and getting messages stating that they would call me back. I have a job and I’m not available at anytime. My appointment got canceled. I received a link to click on to confirm my appointment. After waiting months for an appointment and clicking on the link every time I got a text, my appointment got canceled. They canceled my appointment because I didn’t answer their phone call while I was working. There has to be a better way. I feel neglected as a working person who doesn’t have all day to be waiting for a phone call I didn’t even know I was supposed to get. No one told me that I had to verbally confirm my appointment. I can’t answer phone calls while I’m at work."
