"Careless and lacking compassion. I went into the emergency room with a severe anxiety attack. I had never felt that way before. I get into the room the guy taking my blood pressure and oxygen level was very nice and gentle. The girl who was trying to draw blood was annoyed, having a bad day and taking it out on me. She was supposed to find a vein to start an IV (which I already had one in my hand) but because she was so frustrated with herself or job or day or whatever she shoves the needle in the center of my upper forearm. NEVER have I felt so mistreated in an emergency room and on top of that not being able to see or respond correctly I was unable to defend myself. The doctor who was treating me like as very pleasant and gentle. It then it came time to be checked out and the guy who came in as I was sleeping said “Ok…!!! It’s time to leave…!!!” What the heck is wrong with people. Between this hospital and Arrowhead there was very little compassion in my very minimal stay there and I had no idea what was going on with me. I hope no one EVER has to endure that type of treatment especially the elderly community who goes there quite often."
