Reviews
"From the providers to the front desk ladies to the nurses in the field, Baptist Cardiology has the best team! They are there to listen, understand and genuinely care for their patients, which is hard to find especially after COVID. I adore these providers "
"Absolutely horrible. Even my cardiologist. They constantly miss dignose , have horrible attitude, no compassion. Constantly rescheduling your appointment you have had for months, then when you need a release for surgery for something else where you may have cancer. They push you off. Just horrible"
"Reading thru the reviews and I find myself in agreement with most of them. I had my heart attack in 2013. Since then I've had 3 different doctors. And this last one I saw was a not even worth driving the 30 minutes over and then sitting for over 2 hours. He walked in, told me to quit smoking, which I had, and walked out. Didn't know what was going on, for example, my not taking my blood thinners for other medical reasons wouldn't even let me talk. He didn't even ask how I was. Considering I hadn't seen a cardiologist in 6 months, you'd think they'd at least want to know. It's like there is no personal attention. No true caring by the staff or the doctor. I'm just a chart number. My time is as important. As is my health. The staff really wasn't any better. I HAVE to go today. I'm praying I'm treated like a human and not chart number."
"The doctors themselves are amazing but the receptionist and the nurses, that's a completely different story! They do not listen at all to anything you say when you call in. You can tell them what you're calling about and then 20 minutes later after you get off the phone call you can check your my chart summary notes and they will say something completely different than what you called about. Every time I see that happen I can't help but think no wonder I had a heart attack when I was reassured by the APN that I was in no danger of having a heart attack. I am personally looking for a new cardiologist. Again, the DOCTORS, not the APNs, the cardiologists there are amazing but again I'm tired of dealing with the staff and the nurses that act like they got their head in the clouds and don't know what's going on. I'm also tired of my appointment being scheduled at 8:00 and at 10:00 I'm still sitting in the lobby waiting to be called back so I don't get out of there until you know noon or 1:00 and that's just too much time. I feel like they have no regard for the fact that I have a life outside of their office. If I'm more than 15 minutes late, they cancel my appointment and charge me a no show fee but they can be as late as they want to be."
"So frustrating!! My husband has had his appointment rescheduled 5 times and I delayed going OTR (we are truckers) for my appointment which they rescheduled last minute. This is affecting our health because we aren’t able to ask our employer to continue to change our schedule on the whims of these doctors. They need a better system."
