"If I could I would give the BHU zero stars. I came in in crisis and was discharged three days later. I had the option of going to cedar hills in Portland but opted to go to the BHU because it was quicker. I have the Peace Health patient portal and after reading the notes from the nurses and doctors I'm quite shocked at their mistakes concerning things I said. Without going into detail the medical staff completely made up some of what I'd told them upon my arrival as well as into my stay. I don't know who to call to file a grievance concerning this matter but I'm completely shocked that they could get these important details so very wrong. If I am ever in crisis again I will insist on not going to the BHU."
"I was in patient and psychiatric nurse practitioner took away my seizure medicine so I got to go through seizures for a year! No doctor would go against anything she did. While I was there they got into my cell phone and called everyone for money. My family told me. I have Medicare Medicaid but they wanted more money. Abuse of power!!!!!"
"Incredibly unprofessional front-of-house staff with an impossibly disorganized system. I went to two visits with Dr. Jalene Deane and did not feel she was the right match for me/helpful (she interjected her own narrative into the appointments often), and I've been receiving bills ever since. Dr. Jalene Deane did not seem to listen, as she asked the same questions several times over, and did not seem to have the social awareness to read my situation or my personality. I would not recommend her. I walked out of her office after both visits feeling worse than when I came in, even understanding that sometimes it takes several visits to connect with a therapist. But with all the billing issues and how expensive the visits were, I would say it is not worth your money to bother with her or her office. There are several offices dealing with bills, none of which can explain the charges. I called one office to pay a bill and was told that my account was settled, only to receive an additional bill in the mail for a higher amount. Upon following up about this bill, I was told there was no record of my payment. None of the offices associated with their billing ever pick up their phone lines, and the secretary for the building does not have the authorization to speak with anybody or get in contact with anybody to help. I hope this has just been some cosmic disorder for my experience alone, and that other individuals have not suffered the same headache."
