"Tried scheduling an appointment here months ago and it took several calls of being forwarded to person after person and having calls dropped with nobody trying to call back or being forwarded to voicemails that apparently don't get checked. When I finally got an appointment set up for a few months out (after about the 5th call), I thought I was all set. Fast forward to today, 2 days before my appointment - I received a call from them to confirm my appointment and they asked for my insurance information (which I definitely gave them when I scheduled the appointment, that was part of why I kept being transferred to different people during my original calls). Apparently the person I was scheduled with does not accept my insurance, so they said I would have to reschedule 11 months out. Wouldn't wish this service on my worst enemy."

"In contrast to some of the negative reviews I have read, my experiences with my Dentist, Dental Assistants, and Hygienist have always been great. These individuals are very professional, personable, and meticulous. The office staff has always been friendly and I've never had a scheduling or billing issue since coming to this location. My husband and I both get all our dental care here and have no intention of looking elsewhere. Many other positive comments on the Gentle Dental website support my views."

"This office is HORRID. RUN!!! We had full ex rays done, my daughter needed a root canal, scheduled it, dropped my daughter only to find they called me to say they were done taking ANOTHER ex-ray, charged me and were ready to schedule an appointment for the root canal! Another time I they scheduled me for 2 teeth on the same side since I would be numb already and I am highly anxious about dental work. After completing the one work the doctor announces he will do the second tooth another day. When I protested he simply walked out! 2 of the fillings they did on my daughter FELL OUT! These people are money-grubbing, sub par dentists with reception, scheduling and treatment coordinators with no communication making it ridiculous to make an appointment. Worst dental care ever."

"I went here recently as a walk in for severe pain I was having and was seen within a half hour. Front staff was very nice. The assistant was also very nice and helpful. The dentist was also very kind and helpful. He did the exam, went over my options and got me some medication to keep me comfortable until treatment could be carried out. I was given an estimate for treatment which was very reasonable and I will be back. It's too bad that some people claim this establishment is "all about the money" just because they have to actually pay for services."

"I had the same sort of experience with Oregon Dental Care. Also retired, I survive (barely) on several hundred dollars per month less than the subject of this article. They lured me in with a good deal on examination and X-rays and a promise of the chance for monthly payments. I received 6 fillings (the teeth all crumbled or literally fell out within a year) and a cleaning, for which they charged me $4,000 cash. They wanted another $12,000+ to finish the work, and refused monthly payments. I told the dentist up front that I had a very limited income. He said that wasn't his problem. The office manager was rude, the staff was rude... These people and others like them should be put out of business. And people wonder why the government has to resort to regulations!!!"
