"I wish things could have worked out because my daughter LOVES their office. It's extremely kid friendly and wonderful in there. The biggest issue was with billing. My daughter had a horrible experience with another dentist in Cottage Grove and she's very anxious and uncomfortable now when it comes to her teeth. This causes her to need general anesthesia for any future dental work. This office has M2 come in for that which is a separate payment and we were okay with that. However they wanted another $2000± on top of that to work on my daughter's BABY teeth. She needs a bit of work done but I felt like that was a little extreme. We called around to find someone else to get a second opinion because I don't want them extracting baby teeth before they're ready for no reason or doing extra unnecessary work. While waiting for the other appointment, someone from this office called me and I informed them we were not going through with the procedure and appointment because we couldn't afford that much during the holidays. She said that she could look into our medical insurance and find out if we'd qualify for the surgery center instead which would "lower the price substantially" and proceeded to tell me about someone else who got approved and their cost dropped from $1000+ down to like $200. I don't know a lot about insurance but she made it sound promising so I told her yes. She calls me back later and says "hey congratulations! She was approved for the surgery center after all! We just need you to come in and do paperwork." I go in and they wanted me to pay the same cost as before, but there was also an ADDITIONAL $700+ charge for the surgery center. I was very confused about this because I was told that what they were doing would LOWER my costs, not make them higher. I asked multiple different people (in person and on the phone) what was going on and not one person could explain to me why the cost went up instead of down like they told me it would. They kept saying "I don't know what you're talking about. This charge is still the same and will always stay the same. We don't deal with medical insurance, only dental." I literally cried to my husband and mother several times because I was being treated like I was stupid and not getting any answers. I was getting so stressed and overwhelmed, not to mention angry because they got me to cancel the other appointment for the second opinion that we had to wait months for. Well after canceling with this office and asking for a refund of the money I put down, guess who finally explained the situation to me? The OTHER pediatric dentist that we went to for a second opinion! She told me that it sounds like they were not being transparent at all about the billing and that while you can be approved for the surgery center, it doesn't mean that insurance is going to pay anything toward it. So all they did was add a facility use charge on top of our already high cost. On the bright side, we found a better pediatric dentist, the cost for the procedure is much lower, and while she still needs a bit of work done (which we expected) they said she doesn't need near as much work as this dentist said she needs. The one star is for the front desk staff because they're so friendly and helpful, and for the office/building itself because a lot of work and love clearly went into it."

They used to have a different dentist somewhere else in Eugene that left my kids with some negative experiences, but since switching to pediatric dental associates, they have put my kids concerns at ease. Highly recommend."

"All 4 of my children love coming to the dentist. Very friendly staff. They have been able to accommodate taking all kids in at the same time for cleanings and also work with the orthodontist next door sharing xrays and notes. The kids love being able to choose their favorite flavors of fluoride or laughing gas. Each kid gets to choose a selection of a Disney or Pixar movie to watch while they lay back and get their teeth cleaned. At the end of the appointment the kids get tokens to spend in the toy machines. Super fun and easy trips to the dentist makes my life easier."

"We had a great visit with my 10 year old daughter and my 6 year old son. They got to watch a movie on the ceiling while they had their teeth cleaned. My son even enjoyed getting his x rays! They are so good with kids! Oh, and that big red bus is always fun!"
