"This is the absolute worst office I have ever had the misfortune of going to. The other poster was right in that they bill every visit as diagnostic, even if it's routine and you've never had an abnormal mammogram. But the worst part is THE BILLING. THEY OVER BILL YOU AND KEEP YOUR MONEY. I've been waiting 6 months to get my money back. They say they verify your insurance, but if they had, they would have known that my visit was covered 100%. But instead, they made me pay my entire deductible up front, and then they were also paid by my insurance. Now they have given me every excuse in the book about why it is taking so long to refund me. I'm about to report them to DHHS OIG for fraud."

"This practice has gone down hill over the past few years. The front desk is literally a hot mess. Clueless. They don’t retain any inform so you fill out new forms every time you go in. They don’t assist with finding out if you insurance is in network. You literally sign and initial your life away. Not specifically rude but curt. My current appointment was canceled and rescheduled three times. I never see my primary Doctor anymore. Long wait times are a norm. Last visit I waited through nine other patients . Even the office looks shabby, tired furniture, ripped chairs etc. The technicians are always kind and do the best they can with such an abundant schedule. My faith in Dr. Mcswain remains but I actually don’t know because I never see her."

"Beware! Apparently they have finally changed over to billing every appt. as diagnostic. The doctors are wonderful and I have appreciated the care that they have given me over the last 15 or 16 years. I feel like there was a lapse of communication as to the change in their coding of your bill. I'm not talking about paperwork that you seem to sign every time that's the same. I'm talking about a representative calling you and saying 'Hey do you realize you're going to owe your entire deductible?' My appointment was a 6-month follow-up that I really could have waited. I just did not realize the fact that it would not be covered, the visit consisted of the same things I've had done every time, no one called to let me know the visit would not be covered. No one at the front desk said anything prior to my appointment. When checking out, I tried to understand what was happening at the front desk. They were very quickly oppositional and any other billing person you speak to is pretty much the same way."

"I was referred here by my GYN and became worried about my appointment after I saw all the low reviews. However, my experience was actually very pleasant, so I thought I would write a review for anyone else who is nervous for her appointment. I have never had a mammogram before and was super nervous about that and about the results. The staff here were so kind and comforting though. I felt like they genuinely cared. I was also impressed with how quickly my appointment moved considering how many steps there were to get through (mammogram, ultrasound, doctor’s review, meeting with the doctor). I am incredibly grateful to the amazing women who work here for their kindness and compassion. Thank you for making something I was dreading a pleasant experience!"

"I had an excellent experience at the Johnson Ferry Road office. Reception was friendly and helpful. Each area of care was staffed by kind and capable people. I asked about the bad reviews and was told that they listened and made changes. Dr. Amerson was wonderful. This is not an in and out appointment. It is well organized, reasonable wait times, but you could be there a couple of hours. This is full breast care. I left feeling I was in good hands and I will come back."
