Dr. Hassan completed his fellowship at Beth Israel-Deaconess Hospital, Harvard Medical School, and has been serving the North County community since 1999. He specializes in treating conditions such as Acid Reflux (GERD), Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), Diverticulitis, Ulcerative Colitis, Crohn’s Disease, and more. "The reason I didn't do the procedure was because they never told me not to stop eating or drinking the night before so I decided not to reschedule because if they can't tell me the most basic part I don't trust them to do the complicated part.Also he was supposed to call my heart doctor and to see if I needed to stop taking my blood thinner medicine do the procedure. He said he did and my doctor said it was fine. Come to find out he never did. And my doctor said it's a good i didn't get the procedure because that would been dangerous because my blood was so thin. I rescheduled with mercy and they told I need to stop taking Warfarin for three days and take this injection medicine for the next three days until after the procedure. Think about how scary that is. good chance something would have went terribly wrong possibly died if I went through with the procedure that day. God blessed me by them not telling me to eat so I didn't end up getting it done with them. Thank you God"
