Minsky Formal Wear

"Minsky Formal Wear took AMAZING care of my son for prom this year. Don is so wonderful to work with. He is so knowledgeable about formal wear and makes the potentially nerve wracking process beyond comfortable. When we went to pick up our order, a couple of items were wrinkled (from shipping, Don explained). Don was so calm, upbeat, and kind, immediately taking the items and pressing them to be perfect. Literally 3-5 minutes on each item, I think. He never made excuses or argued - he just wanted us to be completely happy, and we were! The gold vest that was ordered was just a little too big to look right if my son took his jacket off. Don, without hesitation, got us a lovely black one (he keeps common items in house) that fit perfectly. He said we should take it and use whichever one we felt worked best. He didn’t ask for additional money, he didn’t even make a note if it, trusting we would return everything (which of course we did happily). What a relief - no additional stress or nickel & dimeing at all! The black one actually looked even better than the gold one. This was late on Friday, with prom being the next day (Saturday). Don told us that if my son tried on the suit again at home (he tried it all on at Minsky already) and there was any problem at all, to bring it in on Saturday and he would happily alter or do anything else that was needed, no problem at all! That is such reassuring customer service!!! My son looked like a million bucks, and he and his date had a wonderful time!! The prices were excellent, way better than the competition, for sure. The selection and quality was great. It was just an honest, no surprises experience. There’s a reason Minsky has been successfully owned and operated by Don for well over 40 years! Oh, and they do all kinds of alterations and repairs (including extensive leather repair), also! Don, you’ve absolutely earned our business from now on. Keep up the great work, and thank you so much!"

"For my wedding, my groomsman and I decided to rent our tuxedos through Minsky and we would do it all over again. Don was very professional and quick to respond to my call whenever I had questions. We had some people from out of state and the process Minsky has for the fitting form was seamless and simple. A couple of my groomsmen needed last minute alterations when we tried them on the day before the wedding and Don quickly helped adjust to make them fit great!"

"Everything from start to finish renting a suit for a friend’s wedding. I had setup an appointment ahead of time and was pretty hesitant since I had zero clue how this stuff worked. The staff was great, got my measurements, I put a small down payment on it, and got my suit a day earlier for the wedding. Measurements were perfect even as I lost weight and even if they weren’t, adjustments could be quickly made. Things looked great and I got complimented on the vest that was suggested.
