"This place has some of the most delicious pies you'll ever taste. Great yesteryear feel here, and friendly people. It's worth a stop!"

"We stopped both ways while on a recent Western road trip. We had lunch on the westbound leg. My BLT and chips was great, and my wife enjoyed her chicken salad sandwich with potato salad. Service was great and reasonably fast, considering a caravan of Airstreams arrived just ahead of us. On the eastbound leg, we had some of their amazing pie."

"Personally, this was my favorite diner from all route 66. Its vibe is unique and takes you in the past with a sweet nostalgia. Just because of its location you must visit it. Inside you can admire many, many vintage objects. I highly recommend to order a bottle of Coke with a smooth and creamy Peanut Butter Chocolate pie, it’s heaven on Earth. Also the souvenir shop is really nice and maybe you can buy something."

"I had Tennessee Whiskey Chocolate Chip Pecan Pie and it was awesome (and yes… I licked the plate)!! My wife had the BLT and loved it! The service was quick and beyond friendly. The atmosphere in the restaurant was everything we hoped it would be when we decided to stop. All this is enough to warrant a 5-star rating…but there is more. While checking out, I left my credit card at the counter but didn’t discover that for a couple hundred miles further east. We reached out to Brenda Hammit (owner) and she bent over backwards to assure me they had it and returned it very, very quickly. Establishments like Midpoint Cafe show every day they deserve our business…check them out if you are anywhere near Adrian, TX…you won’t regret it!"

"This little cafe has some of the best pie. The meals are good but the highlight is the pie. It is a small cafe where family works the tables. We try to stop here anytime we drive near Amarillo. On this trip I tried the chili apple pie....yeah, you read it right. It was an apple by but the backside of the flavor had a little bite. It was a good combination but not sure I would order it again. My wife had the Elvis. Peanut butter and banana pie. It is one of our favorites."
