Dr. Emelife holds a Medical Degree from the University of Nigeria School of Medicine, Enugu, and completed her internship and residency at John H. Stroger, Cook County Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. She further honed her skills with a Renal and Hypertension Fellowship at Loyola University Chicago, Stritch School of Medicine, and earned a Master’s in Health Administration from Milken Institute of Public Health, George Washington University.

Board-certified in nephrology, Dr. Emelife is passionate about empowering her patients through transparent and collaborative care, ensuring they achieve the best possible health outcomes. She actively contributes to the education of future physicians as a board member of the Wellstar Clinical Partners/Accountable Care Organization and has served as past president of the Association of Nigerian Physicians in the Americas (ANPA), extending her expertise to underserved communities and mentoring young aspiring global physicians.
