Our clinic has a rich history, beginning in 1949 when Grady Segrest, M.D., founded the Diagnostic & Medical Clinic on Government Street near the Oakleigh Garden District. Over the years, our practice has grown, attracting esteemed physicians such as John Moss, M.D., Henry Gewin, M.D., and Bill Atkinson, who joined Dr. Segrest. In 1968, Martin Lester, M.D., further expanded our expertise by opening his practice at DMC, and in 1991, we relocated to the Mobile Infirmary campus to better serve our patients.
